About Pointe Pilates
Pointe Pilates is a fully equipped Pilates studio and is located in Deal Kent. It is run solely by Emma Lee and features two spaces.
Space one
Is utilised for teaching small mat work classes at beginner and intermediate
level. These classes include the use of small pieces of apparatus to enhance
the exercises and challenge the body.
Space two
Uses machines that were developed by Joseph Pilates and these classes are
available on a one to one basis or a 'shared' studio session with a maximum
of four people. To attend these sessions you need to have attended mat work
classes to intermediate level or 'one to one' sessions to
intermediate level.
Who can practice Pilates?
Pilates can be practiced by anyone. Emma's oldest client is eighty one!

What are the benefits?
Many clients seeking help from Pilates are sent by their GP or physiotherapist. At its early stages it is remedial, it focuses on restoring 'normal, natural' movement.
At its extreme it is a powerful body-conditioning tool. Eight central principles underpin all the exercises as you increase flexibility, strength and endurance.
